Hi, I’m Gina. I’m a Certified Professional Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

​

My approach to care is built on trust, respect, and meaningful relationships. I believe that birth works best when the person giving birth is heard, supported, and given space to make decisions that feel right for them. I bring clinical skill, experience, and steady presence. I know that you are the expert of your own body, your baby, and your needs.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Therapeutic Practices, and an Associate of Science degree in traditional midwifery. I’ve been attending births since 2001 and became a licensed midwife in 2017.

 

After helping hundreds of families and supporters of families in Colorado through my work in midwifery, lactation, birth support, childbirth education, and educating professionals who want to become IBCLCs, I’ve started a new adventure in New England and now offer homebirth and lactation care from my home office in Lisbon, Maine.

I am pleased to offer gender-affirming and LGBTQ+ positive care in my life and practice.

 

In my spare time, I make things with wool and fabric. I also am an herbalist and working on the mysteries of gardening in Maine. My partner and I have 6 children (most of them grown up and flown), a dog, a cat, and several chickens.
