I am a mother of two beautiful boys, the first born in 2000 and the second in 2004; and a sweet girl born in 2007. I am a wife, a Mostly Stay at Home Mother, a flaming liberal and a devout feminist.

I am a Certified Labor Doula through Dona International. My Childbirth Educator training is through CAPPA.

I started my company, Moonbabies Birth Services in 2004 to provide resources for the new-family community in Denver.

I have attended births at a number of homes and hospitals in the Denver and Boulder areas, with midwives and doctors, both low-risk and high-risk; for unmedicated, medicated, and scheduled/planned cesarean births.

I have taught childbirth education topics in a variety of circumstances and to a diverse learning group.

I am a member in good standing of the Colorado Doulas Association, Dona International, CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals Association), ICAN (International Cesarean Awareness Network), and La Leche League International.
